We have been recognized with five design awards from the . Each year, AIA Cleveland recognizes excellence in design by inviting local firms to submit their best work to be reviewed by nationally renowned juries from all over the country.

The five projects recognized represent work in architecture and interior design, and include the聽Smithsonian American Art Museum’s Renwick Gallery聽in Washington, D.C.; the聽Cleveland Clinic Avon Inpatient Bedtower聽in Avon, Ohio; the聽聽in Cleveland, Ohio; and the聽聽in Flint, Michigan. The General Services Administration聽Wayne N. Aspinall Federal Building in Grand Junction, Colorado, received the architecture Honor Award, the highest award granted by AIA Cleveland. Four out of five of the recognized projects involved historic landmarks, a reflection of our strong commitment to the practice of historic preservation. 聽Two of the projects 鈥� the Smithsonian Renwick Gallery and the GSA Wayne N. Aspinall Federal Building 鈥� were previously recognized with 聽awards in 2018 and 2014, respectively.

The AIA Cleveland Design Awards聽celebrate and recognize architectural and interior design excellence in Cleveland and northeast Ohio. Recipients were celebrated in an honors ceremony on Friday, November 2.
